Question 1

How does folioandpin.com work?

Accepted Answer

Pick a service from the catalog and describe what you need. If you are not sure which service fits, write to us through the Contact Us page and we will suggest the closest one. Our team reviews your brief and sets a final price within the range shown on the service, together with a delivery date. Once you pay, we assign a reviewed independent designer, who uploads the finished files to the order in your account.

Question 2

What currency are prices in?

Accepted Answer

Prices are set in euros, and every order is charged in EUR. The currency switcher in the header shows approximate amounts in other currencies, but checkout always converts back to EUR. If your card uses a different currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fees.

Question 3

How many revisions are included?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the service. Where a service includes revisions, its description says how many: Basic Logo Design includes up to 2 revisions, and Custom Logo Design includes up to 3 rounds on the direction you choose. If you need revisions on another service, ask support before you pay so they are agreed with your order. Revisions refine the agreed work, so they need to stay within the confirmed scope and direction. A new direction or extra deliverables would change the order, so contact support before asking for them.

Question 4

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

If you cancel before work begins, the amount you paid is normally refunded. After work has started, any refund reflects the work already done and the files already delivered. If the files you receive do not match the confirmed order, contact support: depending on the case, the remedy can be a correction, a revision, a price reduction or a refund. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. The full rules, including cancellation rights for consumers, are in our Terms and Conditions.

Question 5

Who owns the files I receive?

Accepted Answer

Once your order is paid in full, the rights in custom work made for that order are transferred to you, so you can use, adapt and publish it commercially. Fonts, stock images and other third-party assets keep their own licenses, which cover using the final design for its agreed purpose. Editable source files are included only when the service or your order confirmation says so.

Question 6

How do I apply as a freelance designer?

Accepted Answer

Open For Partners and choose Register as a partner. You can also choose Sign in, then Create a folioandpin.com account, then Register as a freelancer. Fill in your details and upload your CV. Our team reviews your application, activates your account and emails you once it is active. From then on, orders assigned to you appear in your dashboard with their brief, price and due date.

Question 7

How do payouts work?

Accepted Answer

When you complete an order, its price is added to your balance. Once the amount is available for withdrawal, you can request a payout from your dashboard using any of the methods offered there. The price is visible as soon as an order is assigned to you, so you know what the job is worth before you start.

Question 8

Does it cost anything to join?

Accepted Answer

No. Registering, applying and receiving orders are free. The price shown with an assigned order is what gets added to your balance when you complete it. Your bank, wallet or payout provider may apply its own charges when you withdraw.

Question 9

What happens if a client is unhappy with my work?

Accepted Answer

Clients raise problems with our support team, not with you directly. We compare the brief, the confirmed scope and the files you delivered, then tell you whether a correction or an included revision is needed. If you have questions about an order, bring them to us rather than to the client.

Question 10

How can I get more orders?

Accepted Answer

Our team assigns every order, looking at the categories you cover, the work shown in your CV and how your previous orders went. Meeting due dates, delivering exactly the confirmed scope, naming files clearly and answering our messages quickly all work in your favor.

Question 11

How is the price of an order set?

Accepted Answer

Every catalog service has a published price range. When a request comes in, our team sets the final price inside that range based on the brief, together with a due date. You see that price when the order is assigned to you.

Question 12

What types of design work are available?

Accepted Answer

Every order is placed for a service in the catalog: logos and brand identity, icon and typography packs, illustration, infographics, web and social graphics, full website UI/UX design and stock image bundles. If your project does not obviously match one of them, write to us through the Contact Us page and we will suggest the closest service. We do not take video, animation or audio work, and we turn down requests that are unlawful or infringe someone else's rights.

Question 13

Can I take several orders at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as you meet every due date and the quality holds. Your dashboard lists each assigned order with its brief, due date and a place to upload the finished work.

Question 14

Who handles my taxes?

Accepted Answer

You do. Freelancers on folioandpin.com work independently, so reporting income and paying tax follow the rules of the country where you are based. If you are unsure what applies to you, a local tax advisor can help.
